Version 2026-10-19.1
Programme terms.
1. Joining
The Method Files’ collaborators programme is ongoing and admission is subject to manual approval. Requesting information or having a learner account does not mean you have been accepted. The collaboration begins when TMF confirms your admission and you accept these terms.
2. Commission and products
The general commission rate is 20% of the amount actually paid for eligible products, after discounts and excluding taxes, delivery charges and charges unrelated to the product. No commission is earned on visits, registrations, free, unpaid or cancelled orders, or the collaborator’s own purchases.
Eligible products are specified when the collaborator joins. Bundles are calculated only once, on the items actually invoiced and their discounted price. An upgrade earns commission only on the new amount charged, not on previous purchases.
3. Attribution
The window is 30 days from the valid referral. The purchase is attributed to the last valid collaborator link recorded before the purchase. Commissions are not duplicated between collaborators.
Recording referrals through cookies requires the relevant consent. If the visitor does not give consent, withdraws it, deletes the referral or buys from another device, the link may not allow the sale to be attributed. No hidden tracking is used to bypass this choice.
Attribution codes may be used only when TMF expressly enables them and communicates their rules. They do not, in themselves, imply a discount.
4. Validation and settlement
Commissions remain pending review. Settlement is monthly and includes qualifying sales for which at least 30 days have passed since payment and for which payment can be made using the necessary details and documents supplied by the collaborator. Outstanding amounts are carried forward to the next settlement; there is no minimum payment threshold.
TMF provides a breakdown of attributed sales and amounts without sharing unnecessary personal data about buyers. The payment method and relevant documentation are agreed before the first settlement.
5. Refunds and issues
A full refund cancels the commission; a partial refund reduces the amount on which it is based by the refunded portion. If the commission has already been paid, the adjustment will be documented in the next settlement or an arrangement will be agreed to reconcile it. Disputes or suspected fraud suspend only the affected commission while they are reviewed.
6. Making recommendations
The collaborator must clearly disclose the commercial relationship and use accurate information about prices, content and the mode of study. Independent opinions are permitted. Unsolicited mass messages, buying for oneself to earn commission, artificial attribution, impersonating TMF, fabricated testimonials and promises of guaranteed results are not permitted.
The covers and materials supplied are used for this collaboration, preserving authorship and without redistributing complete books or courses. Paid advertising using TMF’s name or identity requires a specific agreement.
7. Continuity, changes and closure
The programme has no predetermined end date. The collaborator may stop taking part. TMF may amend the terms or close the programme by notifying active collaborators of the effective date. Changes do not apply retrospectively to qualifying commissions already earned.
When the programme closes, new referrals are no longer accepted. Earlier valid referrals retain the remainder of their 30-day window, and pending commissions are reviewed and settled under the terms that applied to them. Where abuse is established, fraudulent referrals may be suspended without cancelling unrelated legitimate commissions on that basis.
8. Contact and privacy
Enquiries and discrepancies are reviewed through Contact. Only the data necessary to manage the collaboration, attribution and settlement will be processed, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the specific information provided when joining.
9. How tracking works
The collaborator choice is independent of analytics. When you open a referral link, you can accept or continue without accepting. Only if you accept do we store tmf_partner_ref: a signed reference to the collaborator, which expires after 30 days and is accessible only by the server. It does not contain your name, email address or exercise answers. This collaborators system does not record visits, IP addresses or browsing history.
The cookie tmf_partner_choice retains your choice to accept or decline for 30 days. You can withdraw it through “Collaborator preferences” at the foot of the pages. Withdrawing it removes the referral for new purchases. The browser’s do-not-track signals are respected. A previous choice about analytics cookies does not activate this tracking.
When a purchase with a valid referral is processed, the referral and the time of consent needed to manage its attribution are retained in the order. Withdrawing permission later does not remove the records of a transaction already completed or the corresponding retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy. The collaborator sees only their commission reference, date, amount and status; they do not have access to names, email addresses, addresses or order contents.
10. Currency and review
Settlements are expressed in euros. If a sale is made in another currency, the original amount is retained and the conversion to euros is reviewed and documented using the exchange rate applicable to the payment received before the commission is approved. A dollar and a euro are never automatically treated as equivalent. Refunds without a breakdown or other issues require the eligible amount to be reviewed before settlement.
